You Can't Always Get What You Want

"You Can't Always Get What You Want, But if You Try Sometimes You Just Might Find You Get What You Need".

Let me start by telling you a little bit about myself. My name is John Doherty I grew up in Passaic, New Jersey home of the late Capitol Theater "The greatest concert hall of the 70's and early 80's". I now live in South Plainfield, NJ with Cece my wife of six years and two sons Brian & Sean. I had the opportunity in Sept 2006 to see the Rolling Stones at the Meadowlands in East Rutherford, NJ. The show was incredible, I wish it never ended. The Stones sounded as incredible as they did back in the early eighties when I first started faithfully listening to them. During my high school days in the eighties I had the opportunity to work at The Capitol theater, seeing many concerts for free working inside . The Stones played Passaic back in 1978, I was only thirteen at the time and was to young to attend the show. This is my dream, I hope someday I can meet the band I loved for so many years. Now that the band is in their sixties, I really hope my Dream will come true soon. They have a show comming up in NYC at the Beacon Theater, I wish I could afford to see them here , it would remind me of the Capitol Theater days working for John Schere. I have been posting many Blogs hoping the band or maybe a promoter will read it and take the time to contact me to make my Dream come true. The Rolling Stones will go down as the greatest Rock & Roll band ever and I will be listening to them until I'm Micks age and older.
